  Martin A. Etcheverry is a partner an founder of Etcheverry & Etcheverry. Martin studied law in Argentina, England and the United States. He received his J.D. in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1980 (Universidad Católica Argentina) and went on to work for Allende & Brea, a Buenos Aires law firm.

In 1982 he entered Cambridge University in England where he would later receive a Master's in English Law. Thereafter, in 1984 he joined the Boston firm of Sullivan & Worcester, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, commercial and financial law. In 1988 he received a Master's in Intellectual Property from Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, New Hampshire. He trained at the US Patent and Trademark Office Academy in Washington in 1988. Martin was also an in-house attorney for the General Foods Corporation in New York (1988 - 1989). Thereafter, he assisted Argentine clients and investors to start a biotechnology company in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Since 1990 he shared his time assisting his father Oscar Etcheverry, a senior partner of Allende & Brea and founder of the firm's intellectual property section, and directing and supervising the activities of the biotechnology company he helped create. In 1993, after Oscar Etcheverry's death, Martin and Marisa Etcheverry founded Etcheverry & Etcheverry. Martin has been serving Etcheverry & Etcheverry's by combining both the knowledge of the Argentine legal and business systems and his extensive understanding and experience of its counterparts in the US and the UK.
